Hi there, I have an ovation with a carbon top in for repair. A couple of the braces have popped off the top and unfortunately somebody has already tried to re-glue them with what looks like gorilla glue. (Messy expanded stuff as visible squeeze out) The questions is, what is the best bet for gluing spruce braces to the carbon top? Assuming I can clean off enough of the gorilla glue. Thanks |

Use epoxy. It may be hard to clean off the old glue, but if you don't get it off you're basically gluing to foam at this point. |

Epoxy is what should and almost must be used. Cleaning off the other crap will be that hard part. |

Might want to speak with someone who repairs these instruments before setting out on the task. No surprises. |

Epoxy is what Ov*tion originally used. Many shops won't work on these hence some of the comments. We won't work on them either they were never manufactured to be serviceable. |
